Katrin, our CEO, presents the Vizzia system in Garges-lès-Gonesse for TF1

This report in Garges-lès-Gonesse highlighted the collaboration between technology and municipal services to address the problem of illegal dumping.

Katrin Dimitrova, CEO of Vizzia, was on hand to detail how our smart detector system works, a technology designed to specifically detect the appearance of waste. With her, Benoît Jimenez, the Mayor of the City, underlined the importance of such an initiative for his municipality. In fact, thanks to this technology, forty fines were issued in one year, totaling 19,500 euros, an amount which contributed to the reimbursement of the system.

Along with the introduction of this technology, city teams play a vital role. These professionals tackle the arduous task of keeping the environment clean every day, dealing with more than a million tons of illegally dumped waste each year.

It is the combined efforts of local stakeholders, municipal services and businesses that make it possible to make tangible progress in the fight against illegal dumping.
